The Bondspoke founders have nearly 20 years experience each across investment banking, fixed income, research, software development, product leadership, early stage startups, growth stage startups, and executive leadership.

We see a huge opportunity to leverage LLM based AI architectures to dramatically improve how research, decision making and investment analysis workflows work, especially in the complex world of global fixed income.

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and creative Business Development Intern to join our team as we build innovative financial products that will transform how fixed income investors and bond issuers do business. As the Business Development Intern, you will work closely with 1 or more of the founders helping with customer research, customer outreach, industry research, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• You will run point on customer and market research

• You will engage with early customers, performing a mix of discovery and customer support, ensuring we are continuously learning as we iterate our product

• Collaborate with the founders to understand the product vision and business model, and translate it into marketing campaigns, customer outreach, and competitive intelligence

About You

• Undergrad or graduate level education in a business related field

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with founders, designers, sales people, engineers, and other stakeholders

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment

• Nice to have - experience working with financial instruments like stocks and bonds

Employment Type

This role is an unpaid internship that may convert to a full time, fully compensated role upon commercialization of the product and investment in the business. We will work with you to set reasonable expectations such as weekly time commitment and milestones that suit your needs and capacity. We will work with whatever university programs to fulfill internship requirements as needed.
